how i love birthdays....i have to say that i was truely spoilt yesterday. the happy birthday messages were arrive all day, in my email inbox on my facebook and from the 400+ crew in my home here. my door was decorated, the security gurkas made me nepalese food - what a treat - and lots came up to deck 8 to sit, eat and picnic together, chatting and celebrate with me.
it was also the first time that i shared my birthday with anyone. So happy birthday to you too Johan!

then in the evening as a cabin we had a lovely girly night - face masks, smoothies and recontructive treatment for our hair. although home is in africa right now, last night we were treated to some western pampering!
