Yesterday was a good day....and having read Ali's blog post putting into words all that happened, there is no way that i can match it - so i'm going to pass you on to read her blog http://alirae.net/blog/ Post Nov 20th. I was working on the ward the same time as Ali and all that she describes was going on around me. Wasti and the other little one are doing well and Wasti has a ticket home - that in itself is enough to make my heart sing and praise our faithful God.
Today i've done lots of relaxing in Casa del Papa, the local village fishermen were going about their daily task of hauling in the nets - from the shore not a boat - and watched the hazy sun (covered by the sahara sand winds) set over the roaring ocean. It was a day of recharging, reflecting and roasting myself in the heat; but a good day off the ship.
Work and home are all on the ship, so to keep sane, its a case of going out whenever possible! thats the reason if ur wondering why I go out so much! x
