well it sure is about time that i update this blog...with only 18 days to go until i leave for adventures on distant shores and my life takes rather a large U turn! preparations are well underway - i have moved back to midhurst, staying with mum and am thoroughly enjoying the pleasures of homecooked food! stuff from swansea and the last 5 years are almost unpacked and the packing for life onboard the africa mercy is beginning. I will try to post what i am up to and my thoughts and ramblings as much as i can. do keep in touch.

I can't believe how quick it has come about. I hope you manage to pack your stuff ok and that you don't have to do it 20 times. It will be great to hear your ramblings about life on the boat. Are you able to upload pictures on here??
